buycards.ai is a sports-card buyer intelligence tool built on top of live eBay listings. It helps collectors find cleaner sports-card inventory by filtering obvious junk and ranking the rest with the same buyer-decision vocabulary across every page: Strong inspect / Watch for drop / Good card bad price / Scarce but unproven / Too thin to price / Pass.

## What buycards.ai does
- Ranks active eBay sports-card listings using a unified buyer-decision verdict on every public surface.
- Hides obvious junk such as repacks, digital cards, fake/custom cards, low-quality off-brand products, and misleading listings.
- Uses sold-comp evidence when connected. Sold comps come from a local JSONL store seeded via operator-only CSV import (Terapeak / eBay order history / hand-edited seed) and, when eBay Marketplace Insights scope is approved, from the official sold-listings API.
- Anchors decisions against the connected sold cohort: ask within ±10% of sold median can be Strong inspect; ask >25% above sold median becomes Good card bad price; ask >50% above becomes a harder demote.
- When no sold cohort matches, public tiles say "No sold comps connected" honestly — active asks alone never produce a top-buy verdict.
- Tracks listing memory: first seen, last seen, lowest price seen, days on market.

## What buycards.ai does not claim
- It does not guarantee a card is a deal.
- It does not treat active asking prices as sold comps or market value.
- It does not call any listing a "BEST" buy or attach a "Buy score" numeric badge to listings on public pages.
- It does not provide financial advice.
- It does not verify every PSA cert or every product checklist entry.
- It does not buy, bid, watch, save, or message sellers on the user's behalf.
- It does not own the eBay listings it ranks. eBay is the merchant; buycards.ai is a ranker + affiliate link layer.
- It does not submit a Google Shopping merchant feed.
